You're going to need to learn how to do this from first principles, I'm afraid.Īn explanation of custom colouring for themers is HERE.Īn explanation of how folder indenting in the TCP works is HERE. I did what you're trying to do here, if you want to see how it works, but let me be clear : please don't expect it to work if you copy code out of there and into your theme. So we do that with a hack, and indeed tcp_idxbg and tcp_idxbg_sel are in this case (and many cases!) the chosen tools for the hack, but its a complicated bit of theming with the code and images working together to achieve the effect. Its tricky to do selective colouring on the left side of the TCP panel, because that's not how Reaper works when it does the folder indenting there. You've nothing to lose, so trust me, just for a moment, and try it. I urge you to delete that whole file (sure, back it up first!) and then start again with a blank text file, and suddenly you won't be swimming against a tide of someone else's code. bless you squire, but that might be the most terrifying rtconfig file I've ever seen I see bits of the default 4 (maybe?), default 5, and default 6 themes in there, with references to macros and script functions that don't exist, and then whole sections overridden with chunks of simple static WALTER. Didn't people already do cubase looking themes? I salute you for getting into theming but if so maybe find/try them first?
